The Lebanon Opera House was filled with country music magic on Friday, November 15, 2024, as Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives delivered an unforgettable performance. Fresh off a sold-out European arena tour with Chris Stapleton, Marty Stuart brought his cosmic country landscape to life with dreamers, drifters, honky-tonk heroes, and lonesome lovers.

Country Music Hall of Famer and five-time Grammy winner Marty Stuart showcased his rich imagination and keen wit, delighting the audience with tracks from his latest album, “Altitude.” The concert was a beautiful blend of classic hits and new sounds, demonstrating Stuart’s insatiable appetite for growth and reflection.

Highlights of the Night:

  • Marty Stuart’s incredible storytelling through music captivated the audience.
  • His Fabulous Superlatives performed with impressive skill, adding depth and energy to the show.
  • The crowd enjoyed a mix of beloved classics and fresh tracks, creating a dynamic and engaging setlist.

Recent Achievements: On August 20, 2024, Marty Stuart donated his extensive memorabilia collection to the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. The collection includes a vast array of country music artifacts, showcasing the rich history and legacy of the genre. The donation ceremony featured performances by Chris Stapleton and Vince Gill, making it a momentous occasion in the world of country music.

A Special Encounter: Last night was truly special as this reporter was able to catch Marty for a brief chat just before he entered the stage door to thrill a sold-out house. Ever the kind Country Music Legend that he is, Marty graciously spoke with me. I congratulated Marty on donating his extensive memorabilia collection to the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. Marty shook my hand and walked inside to give yet another stellar performance. I believe I can speak for local country music lovers when I say, “Thank you, Marty. We hope you will return to our city again soon.”

Thank you to everyone who attended and made the night so special. Stay tuned for more exciting events at the Lebanon Opera House!
